The railway station is also close by which makes us an ideal base for visiting London (35mins), Cambridge (35mins) and Duxford Aircraft Museum. Local attractions include The Rhodes Arts Complex and museum, Stansted Mountfitchet Norman Castle, Molehall Wildlife Park and Audley End house and gardens. If you wish to go further afield, day trips by local coach have destinations all over the south of England.
Avery House is also convenient for guests visiting Bishop's Stortford College and the Anglo European School.
